Common Grace is a company that cares about SOUL™. More than a glass collectible or piece of fine crystal jewelry, SOUL™ was developed to reintroduce the historical symbol for one’s soul. Since the time of the Pharaohs, this symbol has been used in every culture to symbolize eternity and the soul.
SOUL™ had its genesis at The Corning Museum of Glass, in Corning, New York, “the glass capital of the world” and has enjoyed an ongoing feature presence there. Nancy Brennan, Buyer for CMOG GlassMarket, has said of SOUL™ “Nothing in Glass Art Jewelry is new... SOUL™ is new.” Craftsmanship, conceptual purity, and design met vision and passion when Common Grace organized to support our present culture with its need for a symbol for the soul.
Each member of the Common Grace Creative Group has been hand selected for their artistic sense, creative skill, craftsmanship and common vision. Our name, “Common Grace” reflects the idea of everyday beauty; a grace that is common to all. Consistent with our focus on everyday beauty, our timber-frame Design Center, fondly referred to as “SOULworks,” is located with a “sunrise” view on the edge of a pine plantation, in the middle of a family operated organic farm. We hope that you will join with us as we believe in beauty for everyone, everywhere, everyday; everyone has a soul.
